The goal of this project is to gain in-depth knowledge about the governance of adaptation to climate change in a select number of case study regions and local communities. We aim to improve our understanding of the regional and local framework conditions as well as identifying beneficial and inhibiting factors for the governance of climate adaptations. The project examines communities participating in the federal pilot program “Adaptation to Climate Change”. The results will make recommendations regarding improvements to cooperation between the federal, cantonal and local levels.
